Mr Gokhan Gurelik is one of the best eye doctors in Turkey and is very capable of eye surgery and vitreus & retina surgery.

He was born in Sivas in 1967.

After graduating from Ankara Atatürk Anatolian High School in 1985, he entered Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine.

He graduated from medical school in 1992 and started his education in Gazi University Faculty of Medicine where he became an Eye Diseases Specialist in March 1997.

In 1996 he received his diploma ECFMG.

In 2002, he spent four months in the US city of Cleveland "Cleveland Clinics, Cole Eye Institute 'and' Retina Associates of Cleveland Eye Clinics as a 'visiting clinician' and 'clinical fellow' .

Dr. GURELIK became Associate Professor in March 2003.

He received the title of Professor in 2009.

He currently works as a Professor at the Gazi University Medical Faculty Ophthalmology Department .

His research interests are:

- Medical retina, Vitreoretinal surgery, macular surgery.
- Uveitis, medical and surgical approaches.
- General ophthalmology and retina and innovative design research.

Prof Dr GURELİK who speaks fluent English, is married and has one child.
